Agencies gather information from each of your creditors (like banks, credit cards companies, governments, etc.) and use this information to calculate a credit score. If you've paid all your debts on time, you should have a high credit score.
At times, credit agencies may have erroneous information on your report. A lot of these items may be corrected by contacting the credit agency directly or by using a credit repair service. But first, you'll need to see what's on the report. To obtain a copy of credit report, contact any of the three most popular agencies:
